![]() ![]() USBLoaderGX doesn't run? what do you mean? nothing on screen at all? just black screen? it doesn't even launch? I don't know wiiflow and its usual issues so I can't help you with this error message. ![]() Yes, 1TB works on vWii (even bigger drives). Its only advantage is that it allows the two USB ports at the back of the console to be used instead of only one (Port0, the back-top). ![]() When you follow the guide, I recommend installing the version "d2x beta52" instead of beta53.īeta53 can have issues with HDD compatibility. I'll move your thread now as it's not a tutorial but a question. (it's in the WiiU Tutorial and FAQ section) Oops, wrong copy/past for the guide link sorry. Hacking console is an eternal evolving scene, you should read a lot and check if something new is available since your randomly found tutorial written date. They are also often missing steps, not explaining things, editing parts to match THEIR own preferences without understanding that not everybody are using the same setup and risk bricking user's consoles. It's usually made by newbies who did something THEIR way and want to share it, but it's always wrong (or at best old). I really don't understand whyyyyyy they always do things wrong In the closest available empty spot in your Wii Menu, you will have my Project M Launcher channel appear.Ahhhh, the eternal youtube video tutorial. Press A and then HOME to exit to the Homebrew Channel, then press HOME and scroll down to "Exit to System Menu" to exit back to the Wii Menu. ![]() After a few seconds, the channel will finish installing. Scroll down some more, press A to select the Project M Launcher WAD file, and press A to install it. Select your Wii SD Slot, then scroll down to the "wad" folder and press A to open it. Press left on the D-pad until IOS 236 is selected, then press A. Once you're in the Homebrew Channel, load the "WAD Manager" app. Once finished, exit back to the Homebrew Channel. After a few seconds, there will be an option that asks you if you intend on using this to pirate games, so please press 2, otherwise the application is designed to lock itself from being used. Press the 1 button whem prompted to, select "Download IOS from NUS", and press A to continue. Turn on your Wii, go to the Homebrew Channel and load the "IOS236 Installer" app. After the download is finished, extract the folders to the root of your SD card. (If you already have IOS 236 previously installed, you can skip ahead to Step 5) To navigate the menus of the Homebrew apps, you will need a regular Nintendo Wii Remote (without Wii Motion plus) or a Nintendo Gamecube controller plugged into port 1. IMPORTANT NOTE: As a small precaution, please make sure you have no Nintendo Gamecube memory cards or USB devices inserted, as these may cause unintended and/or harmful effects during the installation process. ![]()
